In a few hours we will go to Dr. Porcu's office and hopefully learn the outcome of Friday's CT and PET scans. Just seven months and a day ago, this was our blog entry:
[After waiting all day, the Riverside attending physician arrived about 6:15p] with the initial report: The tumor is a B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Yep, I have cancer.
That's all we know at this point. There are a number of subclasses of B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, some of which are curable, and some of which can be nasty. We will not know more until Wednesday of next week, but, regardless of the details, chemo is the primary treatment approach...
Each day of that seven months has been l-o-n-g, and yet the time has evaporated... "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day" (2 Peter 3:8 NIV).
And so, the sun is rising, Marsh is sleeping, and we are waiting, with a peace that passes understanding and the sure knowledge of God's astonishing gift of grace.
Will share more when we know it
Continued thanks for the prayers
